If you've been a gamer or a parent at any time during the past 20 years, Pokemon has probably found its way into your life in some form or fashion. For me, it wasn't the video games or TV show that got me hooked as a kid. In fact, I couldn't care less about them even today. What I DID care about, however, was the Pokemon trading card game. Golly Bob howdy, those were fun times. A good chunk of my allowance was spent on decks and booster packs between '97-2000, and I still have a couple of binders filled with those cards. I even have all the custom, homemade cards my friends and I would use in our non-league battles (why have I never posted those?). Anyway, I always liked Snorlax because he looked like a huge, adorable, pudgy cat, plus his card's high HP and resistance to status effects made him a great choice in damage-swap/stall decks.
